peeled and pitted Hass avocados, 1/2-inch dice (about 1lb) 1
medium tomato, finely diced 1⁄2
small red onion, finely diced 1⁄2 cup
chopped cilantro 3 tablespoons
lime juice 1⁄4 teaspoon
Tabasco sauce (or red pepper flakes, to taste) 1 teaspoon
Kosher salt (to taste, if allowed)Yields:
Instructions
In a medium bowl, toss the tomatoes with the onion, cilantro, lime juice, Tabasco sauce and 1 tsp. salt, and let sit for about 5 minutes. Add the avocado and gently mash it into the tomato mixture with a fork. Serve immediately. (Recipe #472)
