Tamarind Chutney

Ingredients

1 cup
tamarind pulp
1 teaspoon
ground cloves
1 teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon
ground cumin
2
sliced large onions
1⁄4 cup
coconut water
3 tablespoons
lime juice
1⁄2 teaspoon
salt
 
cayenne or jalapeno pepper (to taste)
 
maple syrup or agave nectar (to taste)
1 cup
organic dark raisins
1
finely chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

Place all ingredients, except cilantro, in a blender and blend until smooth. If you want a chunkier sauce, add raisins toward the end so they don't break down all the way. Garnish with cilantro.  (Recipe #820)
