Sometimes you simply need a treat! These devilishly delicious brownies have no additives, preservatives, gluten, dairy, or refined sugar. But the best part is, you'd never know it! Plus they pack a protein punch with the black beans!
Preheat the oven to 350. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with coconut oil or butter. Place beans, eggs, coconut oil, cacao powder, salt, vanilla, and maple syrup in food processor and blend until smooth. Remove the blade and gently stir in your chocolate chips and walnuts.
Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Bake for 35 minutes, or until brownies are set in the center and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Cut into 9 squares.
